Steps to apply for Financial Aid
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov and include CACC’s School Code of 001007. If you are completing a FAFSA for the first time, you will need to create an FSA ID for yourself and a parent (if you are under the age of 24).
The Enrollment Services Office must have a completed admission application and all official transcripts for financial aid application to be processed.
After submitting your FAFSA online, please monitor your email for messages and instructions from CACC Financial Aid.
If you are selected for Verification or require other documents to complete your file, you will receive an email from CACC with instructions on how to complete your required documents in your OneACCS student portal. CACC uses Inceptia to complete Verification. You may be contacted by Inceptia via your FAFSA email and/or phone number to assist you with completing the verification process.
Check your OneACCS student portal regularly for updates to your financial aid status.
After completing steps 1 – 5, please allow a minimum of 2 – 3 weeks for processing. You may check your OneACCS student portal for updates to your financial aid status and financial aid offers.
If you have additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
